Hello Newport Fitness Members! 

We are in the midst of transitioning our member management system away from Mindbody to Glofox. We are excited to introduce our new system. However, during this interim period we do anticipate some mistakes as it has been a tedious process to move over all of the contact and contract information. Please let us know if you see any errors with your membership or payments over the next few weeks. We will get them fixed ASAP!

 

We need you to complete a few homework items to have our system fully up to date. See items below. 

ACTION ITEMS ARE REQUIRED FROM YOU - DEADLINE IS DECEMBER 15TH!!​

1) ACTION ITEM - DOWNLOAD THE GLOFOX APP

 

  • Type in Newport Fitness as the studio name. 

  • DO NOT REGISTER A NEW ACCOUNT. You already have an account; however, you do not have a password yet. So click on Forgot Password in the TOP RIGHT corner. 

  • 4) Reset your password. It will send you an email. NOTE: BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR JUNK MAIL IF YOU DON"T SEE IT. Once you have reset your password, login to the app.

 

 

 

5) Open your profile by clicking on the blue circle at the top left. Once opened, it will look like the image shown here. 

2) ACTION ITEM - HOW TO UPDATE OR CHANGE PAYMENT INFO - DUE BY YOUR NEXT PAYMENT 

* We have transitioned your payment information over from the old system if you were on a contract, month-to-month membership, personal training or 10 Class Pass. If you were on a challenge or not on a membership as of late November, you most likely do not have a card on file. 

* This system allows you to add a card OR bank account. Please click on the payments tab under your profile to add or change your card or bank account by December 15th if you do not have a payment file or wish to change the one on file. 

3) ACTION ITEM - SIGN LIABILITY WAIVER & MEMBERSHIP AGREEMENT (MANDATORY - DUE BY DECEMBER 15TH)

On your profile, click on documents, there will be 2 documents to sign:

 

1) Liability Waiver

2) Membership Terms & Conditions

4)  ACTION ITEM- IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN ATTENDING BABYSITTING, PLEASE CREATE AN ACCOUNT FOR EACH CHILD

* Under your profile, click on Family Accounts. 

* Click on Add a family account.

* Sign the parental waiver.

* Input your children's information. 

NOTE: Starting in January, we will be charging daily and/or monthly fees for the use of our babysitting services while you workout. The renovations for the childcare room will include adding a ceiling, insulation to help keep out the noise, a new TV, upgraded furniture and air conditioning for the spring and summer months. Therefore, it is necessary for us to start charging to help offset the associated renovation cost and on-going air conditioning cost. 

BABYSITTING PRICING STARTING JANUARY 1ST

$1 per drop in 

OR 

$5/Month for one child

OR 

$10/month for two or more children

 

YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO CHECK-IN YOUR CHILDREN TO BABYSITTING USING THE GLOFOX APP STARTING JANUARY 1st . The babysitters will be provided with an ipad to ensure that all kids have been checked in. They do have the ability to add and charge the children upon arrival BUT ONLY if there is a child account created first. 

5) ACTION ITEM  - PURCHASE MONTHLY CHILD CARE - DUE BY JANUARY 1ST  (or by when you plan to start using the babysitting services. 

* Under your profile, click on family accounts. Click on one of your children's names (so that now you are using the app in their name). Then click on memberships, scroll to the "Monthly Childcare." * Click view membership plans. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you have ONE child, click on the $5 option to purchase. You will be all set from that point forward. 

If you have TWO OR MORE children, click on the $10 option to purchase and TEXT us at 859-905-0271 or email info@newport-fitness.com with the names of your children using the service and our admin staff will set up all of your children to be able to attend for the $10 family fee. NOTE: all of the children must have an account in glofox. 

6) ACTION ITEM - REGISTER FOR CLASS USING GLOFOX APP OR SCHEDULE ON OUR WEBSITE

We are in the process of syncing our regular Newport Fitness App with the new Glofox system. However, the app will temporarily be unavailable for class pre-registration as of MONDAY, 12/6. YOU MUST REGISTER USING THE GLOFOX APP for any classes on 12/6 or after until further notice. 

* Click on the timetable tab. 

* Click on Classes

* Scroll to the class you want to attend and Book it! If you click on bookings, you will be able to  see any upcoming or past classes attended. 

7) ACTION ITEM - OPTIONS  FOR VIEWING THE WORKOUT OF THE DAY

 

* The Newport Fitness app will continue to display the WODS and will have score posting ability. However, the WODS will also be available for viewing on a trial basis on the community tab in the Glofox app starting the week of 12/6. If the process of posting to this platform becomes tedious, we may stick to the Newport Fitness app, but will use December to try out both platforms for WOD viewing.
